Oh, How I WishThe bitter cold seems to  Eat away at my skin  like a flesh eating disease.  I'll itch and I'll scratch  
until I have nothing left,  
then what is there to scratch?   
Dry and desolate, I wait until  
the moment when a match is  tossed to the ground and everything  is consumed in fire.  
 
No more, it's all depressing.   
The lifeless trees and skulls  from the life that once lived here.   
Send me somewhere far away  where laughter is abundant,  and where the tide and the  
waves are beautiful.

Maybe... Someday...I am told to fly  
Higher and higher

But, how can I  With these battered and  Broken wings[taped and glued]  That constantly fall apart  And shatter like glass.   
Should I attempt to rebuild again?   
I'll start with the bent, rusted  Nails and stripped screws  With duct tape.  Will you help me?[if it's not too much to ask]   
I think this time there are  
Too many pieces to pick up.   
Maybe... someday... I'll grow new wings  And then I'll be able to fly higher  Than the stars... with you by my side. &n Maybe... Someday...
